Our Programs

The Festival for Creative Pianists offers an in-person week-long intensive program as well as a year-round online community. In addition to our educational programs, we also publish sheet music by living composers focused on solo piano, collaborative piano, experimental piano, and art song through our publishing imprint, Abundant Silence.

In-Person Festival

The in-person Festival for Creative Pianists program takes place each June at Adamant Music School in Vermont. This gorgeous setting is sure to inspire creativity and encourage you to take your creative journey to the next level. Participants perform 10-15 minutes of repertoire for a panel of world-class teaching artists and receive individualized feedback. Feedback on written compositions, workshops, performances, intensives, and community with your peers will provide creative fuel in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Online Community

Engage with the festival community year-round through our online community! Submit your performance videos and compositions for comments from teaching artists and peers, engage in learning activities, and explore creative prompts and ideas to help jumpstart your next project and learn new creative skills. Open to pianists of all ages and skill levels.

New Music Publishing

The Festival for Creative Pianists publishes music by 21st Century composers through our publishing arm, Abundant Silence. We feature composers who are specialize in solo piano, collaborative piano, experimental piano, and art song.
